Terms of use

RefinedAI sends the phrases you choose to track to third-party AI assistants, stores the answers they return, and reports the mentions, positions, sentiment and citations it finds in them. Data handling is described separately on the privacy page.

You agree not to:

• submit phrases or content that are unlawful, or that you are not permitted to disclose to third parties — remember that everything you track is transmitted to the AI providers listed on the privacy page;
• use the service to attack, impersonate, defame or harass any person or organisation, including competitors you track;
• attempt to circumvent rate limits, spend caps, plan limits or authentication, or to access another account's data;
• resell or redistribute raw model output obtained through the service in breach of the originating AI provider's own terms;
• use the service in a way that breaches the terms of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, or any other provider whose output reaches you through it.

Automated access is available through the API using your own key. Your key is yours to protect; activity performed with it is treated as yours.

The answers displayed and analysed in RefinedAI are produced by third-party AI models. We do not author them, we cannot control them, and we do not warrant that they are accurate, complete, current or free of statements that are simply wrong about you or anyone else.

We store the literal answer text precisely so that you can check it yourself rather than take our summary on faith. Where our analysis and the raw answer disagree, the raw answer is the evidence.

Each run is a sample: one phrase, one model, one country, at one moment. Model providers change their models, their retrieval and their behaviour without notice, and the same phrase can return different answers minutes apart or to different users.

Nothing in the product is a ranking, a guarantee of visibility, or a promise of commercial performance. Recommendations the product makes are suggestions based on observed samples, not assurances of an outcome. Do not present RefinedAI figures to a third party as a guaranteed or reproducible position.

Subscriptions are not currently being sold. No paid plan is active and no payment is being collected for use of the service. Any plan tiers or prices shown in the application describe intended future packaging, not a live offer.

The service is under active development. Features may change, and runs depend on third-party providers that can be slow, rate-limited or unavailable. We do not commit to an uptime level.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

Decisions you make on the basis of RefinedAI measurements are yours. Given the sampling caveats above, the figures should not be the sole basis for a material commercial decision.

Accounts that breach the acceptable-use section, or that put the service or its providers at risk, may be suspended.
